I hope you are having a super week. It is HOT, and it is time for Freedom and Faith. Thank the Lord it will be slightly cooler on Sunday.
Well, Brian Hobbs, our awesome communications director at QSBC continues to help us move forward in our technology and communication. One thing that we have recently added is a place on Twitter. If this is your thing, then please check out the twitter feed on the right panel, and even click on the twitter button to see the link to the latest updates from QSBC on Twitter.
Also, if you are on Facebook, let me encourage you to find our Quail Springs Baptist Church group/organization and stop by often to see what is happening and what others are saying.
Technology is rapidly changing, and I am grateful to Brian and Rick Hardin for all the great work they do to keep us on the cutting edge in this glocal community.
Does Your Neighbor Know Resource
By · CommentsRecently I purchased a new read at LifeWay that has been refreshing and inspiring. It is the book Unexpected Adventure.
In a very transparent way, Lee Strobel and Mark Mittelberg chronicle heartwarming accounts of their encounters in sharing their faith in many different ways. Written in a format that can easily be used as an addition during your daily Quiet Time, you’ll find these doses of encouragement, especially during this year of reaching out, particularly motivating.
As you wake each day, ask God to show Himself to you, His mission for you, and then watch for God moments through the day. If I close my eyes, I will see nothing.
I just prayed for you all!

May 27th Leader Meeting, 6:15, Cafe
By · CommentsHey Leaders,
We’ll meet this Wednesday night at 6:15 in the Cafe for our monthly meeting and here are a couple of reasons to be there!
1. We will not meet in June, so let’s make this a good one and double up so to speak!
2. I will be giving out feedback sheets about Power Up Your World. I’ll give time for you to reflect and then fill these out.
3. The fellowship is always great!
4. We must plan and work our plan. Just think Round Up 2009 is almost here!!!
No kidding please continue to make all the Sunday School leader meetings a priority.
What is God teaching you recently? What passage in Scripture has recently stood out in a fresh way to you? Leaders, stay fresh in your walk. Remember your walk with the Lord cannot happen on auto-pilot. Spend time every day in His Word, and spend time talking with the Master.
See you Wednesday night!

Mission Mosaic 2009

While the mission for this emphasis is accomplished, the task to stay on mission has just begun! Thank you for your dedication and hard work in serving your neighbor.
Mission Mosaic
By · CommentsHey everyone!
I am so grateful for how so many of you have caught the vision of Power Up Your World! This Sunday we’ll display your visual representation of your mission effort since March when we launch Power Up Your World.
Please get me your mosaic as soon as you can so I can start filling the wall by the library. Just FYI, remember that the staff mosaic is available to see as an example on the bulletin board by the library. This Sunday night, May 17th, is the actual deadline, we want to have everything on display that night.
Thank you again for your faithfulness to do the work of the ministry of Sunday School every week, and your willingness to try and stretch in doing new things like this Missional emphasis. By the way, this is not something that should stop for your Sunday School group!
By the way, if you are aware of any college graduates, please let me or Scott Campbell know as soon as you can so we can recognize them on this coming Graduate Sunday at Quail.
I love you all and your dedication to His Church!
