Recession Hope

Take some time this week to encourage your groups to attend the Town Hall for Hope meeting with Dave Ramsey, a live simulcast QSBC will host in the Worship Center on Thursday, April 23rd, at 7PM. In this year of “Does Your Neighbor Know” and “Power Up” what better way to invite someone to QSBC for encouragement during these tough times.

Also, thank you so much for sharing about your MISSION that you are on during our Power Up emphasis! This is such an exciting time for our Sunday School Ministry and I thank you for praying and committing to this special work.
Encourage your members to also continue to commit to their daily Power Up devotion, committing time to listen to God’s Word and His heart for service and ministry.

Does Your Neighbor Know-Power Up Your World

I hope you thoroughly enjoyed the leadership experience we had February 25th as we prepared for Power Up Your World. Thank you for sharing some of your reflections with me. Please carry this experience with you as you move forward in helping your class be passionate about this emphasis.
You will be receiving in the mail your Sunday School lessons for March 29th and April 5th. Plus, you will also be receiving in the letter the handouts that you will be using with those lessons. We will have these resources copied and available for you at our next Leader Meeting which will be the 25th at 6:15. The Power Up Journals will also be available to you at the leader meeting for your department/class.
I am excited about what the next weeks hold for you and your class at QSBC. I am praying for you as you lead out in this emphasis! Please let me know of anything you need!

Fireproof the Movie at QSBC Feb. 13th and 20th

Make sure you delete my date from yesterday of the 6th for Fireproof, it will be on the 13th and 20th in the Student Center. Also, check out the church calendar for a link and more information about this PNO/Date Night. Thanks for getting the word out about these fun, and enriching nights!
Remember to encourage your groups to make a commitment to an Equip U class this semester. Call us to register, email me, or register online at the QSBC registration site.
One final word, and that is that a new pictorial directory is on the way! Times can be scheduled in February and March, so please encourage your groups to schedule their times and make this directory a success. The more participate, the better the blessing this directory will be for all of us. Check out the front page of www.qsbc.org for more information and for the link to the scheduling site.

Pumpkin Patch 2008!
Posted by: | CommentsHello everyone! Fall is here and it is time for Pumpkin Patch. Here is a word from Children’s Ministry team in how we can be involved on this community ministry night.
Pumpkin Patch
Friday, October 31st
From 6:30 – 8 PM
Volunteers are needed to help man booths throughout the evening. Departments/classes can choose to take a whole game or members can sign up to work wherever they wish. A sign-up sheet should be in their SS folder, or they may contact Dixie or Stacie (dswezey@qsbc.org / ssherry@qsbc.org) to volunteer. We will also be taking donations of gum and candy, boxes will be located by the preschool suite and main church office.
Thank you leaders for encouraging your folks to take part in serving on this fun night. Pick up a yard sign and invite those in your neighborhood to come to QSBC.
I am so grateful for you and your service in ministry here at QSBC! Look what God is Doing!
