Latest on the Flood
By · CommentsGod is good. All the time. I thank the Lord for the response of our church family and community to what we are walking through. So many are working so hard to get us back on track.
Hopefully you have seen the latest updates on QSBC’s Website.
Here are some images to help:
Remember that the next two weeks we will not have Sunday School. We will have all worship services, and we will have childcare for ages birth-3. Thank you for your great flexibility!
We do have an All Sunday School Leadership Meeting on Wednesday night July 28th, 6:15 in the Cafe. I look forward to seeing you at this very important meeting as we discuss where we will be headed in the upcoming days. -Ray
Flooding at QSBC
By · CommentsPerhaps you have already gotten word about the extensive flooding that we experienced here at QSBC last night, Friday, due to a water main break under the preschool building. Thank you for your prayers already as we begin to take the steps to restore the building. The extent of the water flow was to the middle of the building. We are thankful that we became aware of the emergency as soon as we did, versus it happening during the night. There is a cleanup/restoration team in place.
In the days ahead, we will need to adjust our schedule, so thank you in advance for your flexibility. Tomorrow we will have no Sunday School and no child-care, but we will have our Worship Services at 8:15, 9:30, 11:00, and 11:11. We will have our 6:30 PM Worship Service, but no childcare.
Please spread this word with the members of your Sunday School class, and thank you again for praying for this situation. I thank the Lord for you all!
In His Grace,
Ray
July 4th-If you are away…
By · CommentsJust so you know, I am planning to teach a general adults Sunday School class this Sunday morning, July 4th at 9:30 and 11:00 in the gym for any classes/departments that do not have a teacher or substitute lined up. If you know you are going to be away, please send your bunch to the gym for our time of fellowship and Bible study. If possible, please let me know in advance if you will be sending your group.
Thank you to everyone who assisted with another successful Freedom and Faith Celebration. What a time! A special thanks to Bro. Van as well. Also, thanks to all who have assisted with camps, and VBS. God has done some great things already this summer; Look What God Is Doing!
Be safe if you plan to be away and come back soon! God bless you all as you serve Him here at QSBC!
In His Grace,
Ray
Hey Leaders!
The summertime schedule is about to hit. I know that many of you, including myself, have a chocked full schedule of trips and camps (not to mention honey-dos!). Before you hit the door for all the summer fun, let’s have a booster shot in Sunday School!
On Sunday May 23rd, 5:00, Cafe, we’ll have a great time to huddle up with your full leader teams to be challenged to make our Sunday School Ministry the best it can be. Our special guest will be Kris Swiatocho. She has been at QSBC for a previous Singles leadership event. She will be here for a regional event that weekend, and we get to meet with her that Sunday.
Please remind your full team to be at this rally. We will not meet again in May or June, so let’s make this a good one!
You all are the BEST!
Ray
